I am currently busy working on a new body of work that will include printmaking and will focus on how nature reclaims her encounters with man's interventions. 

Cherry, a creative, experimental artist, favours the sponteneity of watercolour but enjoys oils, acrylics, pastels and is unafraid of mixing the media.  Her paintings capture evocative light and mood with colour-drenched textures inspired by a rich tapestry of nature's encounters.  The Gallery displays exciting mixed media and textural paintings some of which are infused with organic inclusions and gold leaf.  The Painting Gallery includes watercolour landscape and seascape paintings that will make your heart sing together with a taste of an amazing array of captured moments in time.  Pastels are another favoured media particularly for painting animals whether it is the soft fur of a favourite pet and especially rewarding 'Pet Pawtrait' commissions or natural wildlife at home and abroad.  New Pastels created from travels in South Africa in 2011 are hanging in Bartons Solicitors in Kingsbridge, Devon.  2012 travels included a mediterranean cruise taking in Venice, Rome, Naples, Corfu, Dubrovnik to name but a few.  New work will follow - Venice was so inspiring and I will need time to be selective.
